Description
The photo of these cactus blossoms as they bloom brilliant orange was taken at the Desert Botanical Garden, Phoenix Arizona the garden's mission statement I believe speaks to us all as artists as photographers and as people.
"The Garden's commitment to the community is to advance excellence in education, research, exhibition and conservation of desert plants of the world with emphasis on the Southwestern United States. We will ensure that the Garden is always a compelling attraction that brings to life the many wonders of the desert. (Articles of Incorporation, 1937; Amended 2002) These cactus flowers are just one of the many compelling things that I have seen there over the years.

Though it seems a simple shot, if we look at it thoroughly, we can easily see few things which makes this pic stand apart from the other similar captures. Sequence of flowers, starting from budding flowers to the flourished ones and blur effect adds a great effect to it. Great job, Bryan! v+f
