The Navajo name for Upper Antelope Canyon is Tse' bighanilini, which means "the place where water runs through rocks." Upper Antelope is at about 4,000 feet elevation and the canyon walls rise 120 feet above the streambed. Located within the LeChee Chapter of the Navajo Nation. As a resident of Arizona the trip up to Page is on that I always wanted to take,I was given the opportunity a few years ago and I was not disappointed in the least! The way that the light reflects off of the canyon walls is really a sight to be seen, what may at first sight seem to be not much to be beheld can change at a moments notice when the lights shifts I loved how this tumbleweed was just sitting there like it hd been placed there just for me to see. This place is truly a marvel and one that I would recommend to friends/family those that are photographers and those that arn't will have a great time at Antelope Canyon. Fine Art America watermark will not appear on purchased artwork.
Thank you for stopping by to look at my photography and supporting me as an artist. I am originally from New Hampshire. I have been living in Arizona for the past 21 years and I enjoy being outdoors and traveling to new places.
